Artist Statement
What moves my art
I wish to remind people that the world is a mystical and magical place. That we don’t know everything—and never will—and that this is part of the beauty of experiencing life. We are drifting, more or less blindly, through time and space, assuming we understand what’s going on.
Art reminds us that we don’t know it all. And that is a kind of liberation—it opens the door to wonder, to surprise, to being truly astonished by life.
That’s why it’s so important to give artists a voice—one that helps them (and others) recognize the significance of what they do. It’s deeply sad how little respect the profession of artists often receives today. As if it were merely about decoration, or a childish, foolish pursuit.
But art is a brave and bold act—an offering in the name of the human soul. And as a society, we should support it as much as we can.
I want to invite those who read these words, and anyone who encounters my work, to enter into a dialogue about art itself. When we speak about how we see, feel, and create, we nourish the entire culture of creativity.
I am here to give art a voice—through my own artistic language, but also by creating awareness of the richness and depth of the creative act, and all it can offer the human soul.
Let’s talk—and creart.

My story
As a child, I was lucky to spend my early years mostly in the care of my grandmother, who nurtured my creativity in the most beautiful way. By the age of three, we were already painting mandalas and characters from the stories we read together. This early encouragement gave me a deep and lasting connection to art.
Throughout my childhood, my favorite thing was to draw the heroes from movies and television. But even then, I was fascinated by exotic fantasy creatures and strange worlds—and I was deeply drawn to the work of Salvador Dalí at a very young age.
Many of my friends from school and later from my training years remember me as the person who was always sitting somewhere sketching or drawing. I carried a sketchbook with me everywhere—and when I didn’t have one, I would doodle on napkins and beer coasters in bars. I always had the urge to express whatever I felt inside in a visual form.
However, these creative impulses were often accompanied by deep self-doubt and harsh self-criticism, which eventually led to frustration and resignation—especially after being rejected by the art academy in Stuttgart.
Since I had studied graphic design and enjoyed photography, I took the leap into self-employment and worked on many wonderful photographic projects—always weaving in my artistic sensibility.
But over time, I stopped painting altogether. I had lost the connection to it. Still, deep inside, there was a longing—a yearning for the colors and forms that once flowed so naturally from my hand.
Then one day, life gifted me a unique glimpse into an altered state of consciousness.
Through a deep trance during a plant medicine ceremony, I reconnected with the magical world I had known as a child.
My adult understanding of the world was shattered—I found myself floating in a vast, empty space. It was both terrifying and awe-inspiring, but within it, I felt an expansiveness that I hadn’t known in years.
"End of the Orbit"
2019, Acrylic on panel
This painting emerged after my first mystical experience.
In that moment, I saw the particles and elements that make up all matter as geometric base forms, constantly reassembling with each breath—shaping the forms of the world anew.

In the time that followed, I experienced astonishing and magical events that continue to shape and define my life to this day. I attended the Transpersonal Conference in Prague, where I encountered visionary artists such as Alex and Allyson Grey, Martina Hoffmann, and Stanislav Grof. Directly after this profound event, I had the opportunity to take part in a weekend workshop with Alex and Allyson Grey—an experience that laid the foundation for the artist I have become.
The workshop marked the true beginning of my artistic and spiritual journey.
Alex and Allyson guided a visionary meditation, accompanied by the rhythmic pulse of shamanic drumming.
This inner journey led me straight to what I can only describe as my inner goddess in form. The drumming energy worked subtly, yet powerfully—it opened my heart completely and brought me into the realm of deep subconsciousness.
I had a moving and loving conversation with the divine being I saw before me, in which I asked how I could always remain connected to it. It pointed to a blank canvas, and in my mind I heard its voice:
“Art is your path to me. You will find me in your paintings. Paint me in all the forms that appear to you. When you paint, you are with me.”
So I picked up my pencil and began to draw what I saw and felt within. From that sketch emerged an acrylic painting that still reminds me of this deeply meaningful moment and continues to accompany me with its strength.
This experience revealed to me that there is an inexhaustible divine source within all of us.
I took the words from that divine encounter to heart and set off on the adventurous path toward becoming a visionary artist—a journey that continues to this day. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of learning from and observing some of the visionary masters of our time.
More stories and insights from my artistic journey will be shared on my blog over time.
