The simplest formula in the world

After several years of desperately seeking recognition, I realized that I had completely lost sight of art itself. I largely perceived my artistic process as an internal battle, one in which the goal was to win.

I thought my victory would be the elimination of my doubts and imperfections, my lack of ideas and fear of failure.

But I only realized that there is no such thing as a "forever solution." Not then and not now. What remained at the end of my self-inflicted years of torture was a blank canvas that seemed to smile at me every day and say: I'm here. And you still haven't done it. Today you get another chance.

The simplest formula in the world: Just do it. But for us humans, this seems incomprehensibly simple. And yet, I now know that with daily application of this formula, creativity seems to have no limits.

The limits are, of course, only imaginary. But they can have a power that prevents us from doing everything we truly desire. Therefore, I now stand ready and encourage you, dear artist, to indulge yourself in creating and to be completely self-forgetful in the process. If you'd like, we can do it together. I can hardly wait to drag you to the easel ;)
